DAT Practice Privacy

Your information.
Handled with purpose.

This notice explains the information used by the current DAT Practice website and early-access app.

Updated September 7, 2026

Accounts and access

When you sign in, we store your email address, account information, and session records to provide passwordless access. Your browser receives a session cookie. Login links are sent by email.

Practice progress

PAT progress is stored in your browser's local storage. It stays on that browser unless you clear it. It isn't currently synchronized between your devices.

Site analytics and cookies

We use first-party visitor and source cookies to understand visits and how people find us. Events may include the page, referral source, a visitor identifier, country, and browser information. Signing up can associate attribution information with your account. You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking session cookies prevents sign-in.

Affiliate applications

When you apply, we store the name, email, profile link, audience description, and contact consent you submit. We use this information to evaluate the application and contact you about a potential partnership. Applying doesn't subscribe you to the student email sequence. Short-lived hashed network identifiers help limit spam.

Email and service providers

Cloudflare provides our hosting, database, and email services. Account and tool requests may trigger email. Accounts and some free-tool requests can enter a study email sequence. Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email to stop that sequence.

Questions or requests

For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions, email hello@datpractice.com. We may need to confirm that an account belongs to you before acting on a request.
